Bright Futures Neurodevelopmental Services Ltd

Welcome

Bright Futures provides comprehensive neurodevelopmental assessments for children, young people, and adults using a compassionate, evidence-based, and neuro-affirming approach.

We understand that pursuing an assessment can often feel overwhelming, emotional, and uncertain. Our aim is to create a supportive and respectful experience where individuals and families feel listened to, understood, and valued throughout every stage of the assessment journey.

Our multidisciplinary team works collaboratively to provide high-quality autism, ADHD, and combined autism and ADHD assessments tailored to each individual’s unique strengths, experiences, and needs. We recognise that neurodevelopmental differences can present differently from person to person, and we take time to develop a holistic understanding of each individual rather than focusing solely on difficulties or diagnosis.

All assessments are conducted in line with NICE guidelines, ensuring a robust, evidence-based, and clinically appropriate diagnostic process.

Assessments are carried out face-to-face (location dependent) or remotely, allowing individuals across the UK to access specialist services from the comfort and familiarity of their own home. Remote assessments can also help reduce travel demands, waiting times, and anxiety often associated with attending unfamiliar clinical environments.

At Bright Futures, we believe that assessment is not simply about diagnosis — it is about increasing understanding, identifying strengths, recognising support needs, and helping individuals and families move forward with greater clarity and confidence.

In addition to assessments, we also offer post-diagnostic support, parent guidance, ADHD coaching, and practical strategies to support emotional well-being, sensory needs, behaviour, sleep, executive functioning, education, employment, and everyday life.

Our goal is to provide accessible, professional, and compassionate support that empowers neurodivergent individuals and their families to thrive.

Review

I just wanted to thank you, for all the support you have given me and my family over the last few months. A has been struggling so much with her emotional wellbeing and school attendance. As a family we were worried and felt a little lost. Siobhan, you have listened and validated my feelings, I have felt comfortable enough to be open up and be honest with you. As a family we felt a little anxious about A going through an autism assessment,  you answered our questions, and explained the process really well. We felt very supported throughout and although the assessment was emotionally tough at times for both me and my daughter, we felt comfortable and listened to. When it came to A's assessment, A was anxious, you soon made her feel at ease, by explaining what autism was, and making the assessment engaging and as fun as you could to make her feel safe. Following A’s diagnosis, we have continued to feel supported and thank you for all your kindness and understanding in what has been a difficult time.
